Hello, I’m Matthew McCurdy, a public health advocate and co-founder of BLKHLTH. With over ten years in health equity, my work is at the intersection of antiracism, public health, and community empowerment.

As Executive Director of BLKHLTH, I’ve led initiatives that connect health education to action, implementing programs for local, national, and international audiences. My work aims to dismantle systemic inequities and develop sustainable solutions for Black communities.

I’ve also worked at organizations like Emory University’s Health DesignED and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to create programs that improve access to care and tackle systemic barriers.

Outside of work, I enjoy mentoring health advocates, trail running, and exploring new music.

If you’re here to learn, collaborate, or just connect, I’d be glad to hear from you.
